Rest Day |

This week brought Isaiah to its conclusion and returned to the stories of Judah’s kings. Together, they showed us a powerful truth: God’s grace is greater than human failure. Isaiah pointed toward a future of redemption, renewal, and a new creation, while Manasseh’s story showed that even someone who had wandered far from God was not beyond the reach of mercy.

Grace showed up in restoration. Again and again, God exposed sin with the chief purpose of drawing them back to Him. He revealed what was broken because He intended to heal it. Whether speaking through prophets or working in the life of a rebellious king, His heart remained the same...to redeem, restore, and renew.

You also saw how Jesus stands at the center of that story. He is the Redeemer Isaiah anticipated, the Potter who reshapes broken lives, and the Savior whose mercy reaches further than our failures. What Isaiah promised, and Manasseh experienced in part, Jesus fulfills completely.

Rest today by remembering that your story is not defined by your worst moment, your greatest failure, or your deepest regret. It is defined by the grace of God. The same God who pursued His people throughout Isaiah and welcomed a repentant Manasseh is still pursuing and welcoming people today.
