Rest Day |

This week challenged you to sit with suffering rather than rush past it. Job’s story refuses easy answers and exposes the limits of human understanding/explanation. You watched faithful people speak wrongly, honest questions remain without any resolution, but also God remains present even
when He is also seemingly silent. Grace did not appear as a relief this week...but it did appear as permission to wrestle, to lament, and to stay in relationship when understanding feels out of reach.

You also saw how all of this slowly points toward Jesus. Where Job longed to be heard, Jesus listens. Where Job endured silence, Jesus entered suffering
Himself. God’s ultimate response to pain is not distance...it was to be present. As you pray today, remember that it is not only about solving your problems, but noticing how God meets you within them!

Use today to slow down. Re-read portions that stirred something in you. Pay attention to where Job’s questions echoed your own, and where Jesus reframed the way you think about faith in hard seasons.

Reflection Questions:
Which part of Job’s story lingered with you the most this week, and why?

How has seeing Jesus as God’s answer to suffering, rather than an explanation for it, changed the way you think about trust and faith right now?
