Rest Day |

This week carried a strong reminder of God’s heart. Through Amos and Hosea, you saw a God who refuses to settle for surface-level religion, false security, or divided devotion. He sees what is happening beneath the surface, not because He is looking for reasons to condemn, but because He longs for genuine relationship with His people.

Grace showed up in both confrontation and pursuit. God exposed what was broken, challenged misplaced trust, and revealed the consequences of a wandering heart. But behind every warning was also an invitation to return. Again and again, His message was not simply, “Look how far you’ve wandered,” but “Come back to Me.”

You also saw how Jesus fulfills this perfectly. He is the faithful Bridegroom who pursues His people even when they wander. He does not love from a distance or wait for perfection before drawing near! Rest today is remembering that God’s love is not fragile. His grace is not exhausted by your failures, and His pursuit does not end when you struggle.

Take time to slow down and reflect on His faithfulness. Not your
faithfulness to Him…but His faithfulness to you.

Reflection Questions:
Where have you been tempted to place your trust in something other than God recently?

How have you seen Jesus continue to pursue, provide for, or remain faithful to you even during seasons of struggle?
