Rest Day |
This week carried a constant theme…trusting God with what we cannot control. You saw battles fought, outcomes uncertain, and moments where faithfulness mattered more than results. Again and again, the focus returned to this truth…God is the one who gives victory, restores after loss, and
ultimately determines what stands.
Grace showed up in that surrender. It wasn’t found in perfect outcomes or easy circumstances, but in choosing to trust God in the middle of the struggle. You saw that faithfulness is not about controlling what happens next…it’s about responding the right way and leaving the rest in His hands.
You also saw how Jesus embodies this perfectly. He acts with purpose, but fully trusts the Father with every outcome. He doesn’t grasp for control…He walks in surrender. Rest today is releasing the need to manage everything and trusting that God is still at work, even where things feel uncertain.
Take time to slow down and breathe. Let yourself step out into trust, remembering that God is handling what you can’t.
Reflection Questions:
Where have you felt the strongest need to control outcomes this week?
How does trusting Jesus with both the process and the result change the way you approach that situation moving forward?
