January 4 |

This week began with creation, intention, and grace. It moved quickly into fracture, failure, and the spread of sin. But at every turn, God’s presence never withdrew. He spoke light into darkness, walked with humanity in the garden, pursued those who hid, protected even the guilty, and preserved life through generations.

Take time today to reflect on what stood out to you most. Notice where grace surprised you. Pay attention to how early the promise of redemption appears in Scripture, and how consistently God chooses presence over distance.

Reflection Questions:

What did these early chapters reveal about God’s heart toward humanity?

Where did you see yourself in the story…created with purpose, tempted to hide, or pursued by grace?
