Rest Day |

This week, you walked through corruption, violence, and spiritual decline, yet underneath all of it God was still protecting His promise. While kingdoms shook and leaders failed, He quietly preserved what mattered most until the right time.

God was working even when it was difficult to see, guarding His purposes behind the scenes while everything outwardly looked unstable. You were reminded that His plans are not fragile, and His covenant is not undone by human failure.

You also saw how Jesus fulfills this completely. He is the promised King no darkness can overthrow and no corruption can ultimately stop. Rest today is remembering that even when life feels chaotic or uncertain, God is still faithfully working beneath the surface.

Take time to slow down today. You do not need to force outcomes or carry the weight of everything yourself. Some of God’s deepest work happens quietly, patiently, and simply over time.

Reflection Questions:

Where have you struggled to trust that God is still working behind the scenes?

How can you intentionally rest in the Lord’s faithfulness today instead of measuring everything only by what you can currently see?
