Rest Day |

This week carried a sense of building. You watched foundations being laid, spaces prepared, and the temple finally filled with God’s presence. There was care, patience, and intentionality in every step, reminding you that what God builds is never random or rushed.

Grace showed up in that process! God was not simply creating a structure…He was creating a place of both worship and relationship. You were reminded that His desire has always been to dwell with His people, to be present in the middle of their lives rather than distant from them.

You also saw how Jesus fulfills all of this completely. He is the true temple, the place where heaven and earth meet, the one who brings God’s presence near in a personal and permanent way. Rest today is remembering that you do not have to “try harder" to reach God…through Christ, He has already drawn near to you.

Reflection Questions:

Where have you sensed God’s presence most clearly recently?

How can you become more aware of how close Jesus is in the ordinary rhythms of your everyday life?
