Rest Day |

This week slowed the pace and challenged us into healthy reflection. You watched Israel look back on their journey, naming their fear, failure, and God’s faithfulness without rewriting the story. Deuteronomy showed us that remembering is not about reliving regret, but about learning to trust differently going forward. Grace met the past honestly and pointed toward a hopeful future.

Jesus does not ask us to forget our detours, but to see them through a filter of redemption. What once was fear can become a testimony of God’s patience and persistence. Rest today is not inactivity…it is allowing truth to settle in, perspectives to shift, and trust to grow.

Take time to pause and notice where God has already carried you farther than you thought possible. Let gratitude replace pressure today. Let remembrance fuel confidence rather than hesitation.

Reflection Question:

How does trusting Jesus with both your past and your future change the way you want to move forward from here? How does that change you view today?
